Hi – My name is Bruce and I would like to share with you ideas about well performing golf gear for all budgets.
YOUR STORY
Besides my family, I have had two main passions in my life, golf and boating. Both involve the changing environment of the outdoors. With boating, you can be cruising on the ocean in beautiful sunny 75 degree weather and then encounter thick fog where the temperature drops to 45 degrees which you are clearly not properly dressed for. Right before the Covid Pandemic, I sold my boats and decided to concentrate on golf.
Performance Golf Gear – Apparel
I’ve golfed over the years in California, Arizona, Nevada, Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Connecticut. So you can see these states all have different climate attributes. Also, I am not just a fair weather golfer in that I have no low nor high temperature barrier in which I won’t play in. My maximum snow limit is probably 2 inches of newly falling snow. As a side note, my longest drive ever was 380 yards on a down hill ice aided fairway. (Like most of us I don’t always include the ice in the story.)
What I have found is my game can easily go downhill if I’m not prepared for the weather conditions. If it is 110 degrees and I am in a tight-fitting non-wicking golf shirt I probably will not play well. Conversely, if I am wearing a loose fitting breathable wicking shirt and shorts that allow for airflow I will probably play better. Cold temperatures bring another set of challenges. We all want to dress in layers but at what point do all those layers restrict your swing. Let’s face it, it’s tough to freely swing a golf club when you look like Ralphie’s little brother in a snow suit in the Christmas classic “A Christmas Story”.
Performance Golf Gear
There are all kinds of golf gear to discover that can potentially help your game. The question is what is the right gear to buy for you and frankly what you can fit into your budget. Let me tell you right off the bat that my budget does not allow me to have a golf simulator in my garage. But my budget does allow for me to take some lessons at a place like Golftec to use theirs. I have been victimized by my own idle curiosity for some of the advertising golf gear. Most of it frankly I have found to not be worth the price.
WHY YOU WANT TO HELP PEOPLE
I’d like to help my fellow golfers decide what works for them to reach their maximum potential. Let them explore what alternatives are available.
THE GOAL OF YOUR SITE
The goal of this website is to be a conduit of information for my fellow golfers on what could work for you in the differing conditions we all play in as well as what gear really does work. I enjoy the facilitation that http://wealthyaffliate.com gives us to exchange ideas and information.
If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.
All the best,
Bruce Arneson
